               Nicholas Boccia is currenly in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University. In May 2016, he will graduate with an integrated Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in construction/project management. Nicholas is a member of a number of professional organizations including the Penn State chapter of Architecural Engineering Insistute ( Student Society of Architectural Engineering, Student society for acheiving construction excellence, and Design bui institute of America.

 

              Nicholas also has a knowledgable background in the construction industry due to hands on experience and construction related internships. Throughout his young career Nicholas served as a general laborer at Elegant Designs & Construction Co. from 2008-2011. During the summer of 2014 he participated in consulting engineering internship at Jaros Baum & Bolles.  The past summer Nicholas participated in a construction management internship with Turner Construction Co. New York City Business Unit. There he spent the entire insternship working on the Freedom Tower interior build out located in lower Manhatten. Some of his responsabilities included, field coordination, LEED cost breakouts, GMP breakouts, etc.

 

             Outside of his academics, Nicholas has an equal work/life balance such as spending time with family, and friends. Some of his hobbies are snowboarding, golfing, fishing and reading literature.
